Now, you all know James Mangold as he is responsible for pretty awesome movies in the past ("Walk the Line (2005)", "Girl, Interrupted (1999)", "3:10 to Yuma (2007)", "Identity (2003)"), and yes, he directed "The Wolverine" awesomely as well! Pretty legit director if you ask me, except for "Knight and Day". That too, wasn't that bad, just a regular Hollywood Flick. Still.

Starting with (and no introductions necessary whatsoever) 'Hugh Jackman' as "Logan/Wolverine", who, lets face it, is the only guy who can portray Wolverine with such perfection! Its like, he was made for that character! Or! The character was made for him! Whatever the case, we love him as Wolverine . So, the story starts after the events of "X-men: The last stand" where Logan has grown tired of his life, haunted by the memories of 'Jean Grey' (Famke Janssen) is living in solitude until 'Yukio' (Rila Fukushima) comes to him with a message from a man he once saved many years before named 'Yashida' (Haruhiko Yamanouchi). With some convincing he takes off with her only to find that 'Yashida' is actually after his immortality. Anyway, this follows by a series of clichés (not going to spoil it, watch it for yourselves) and he falls for 'Yashida's' granddaughter 'Mariko' (Tao Okamato). Alot of new faces in this movie, ('Viper' was a hottie) and all of them doing good. (except for 'Famke Janssen'. I dont like her, she ruined 'Jean Grey' for me).
MUCH better than 'X-men Origins: Wolverine'. The best part is how James made the dark atmosphere that was needed for this part of Wolverine's life. However, the ending is a bit dull (IMHO of course). Still a brilliant movie. Great acting and awesome directing. (GUYS! Don't forget to watch the ending credits scene. So. Much. Win. :') )
But yeah, watch it. If you are up for some action and quality action at that.
